We're Coming Home =)
It's official! John accepted a job in West Des Moines soooooooooooo we are moving back! YAY! He begins his new job on September 8th and will be living with his Dad until Jack and I join him ... UPDATE: AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER :) See above post - we sold!
We are very excited to be on our way back to Iowa!

Olympic Games - Beijing 2008
We are LOVING the Olympics in the Mills' household! We have already predicted Jack as a gold medalist in the 4 x 100 swimming relay (Summer Olympics 2024) and the silver in the triple jump (Summer Olympics 2028). He's amazing....really....

6 Months (almost...)
Happy 1/2 Birthday, Jack. Don't worry, I won't throw a big party celebration (yet). We are shocked how quickly these first 6 months have gone. Some exciting milestones have passed:
- first tooth appeared last Tuesday
- officially rolled over from front to back and back to front
- loves his jumper
- tried lots of yummy food: squash, sweet peas, applesauce, bananas, peaches and avocado (and in the not-so-yummy category: prunes. But, Jack ate 'em like a champ. I think he knew it would help in the -- uh um -- digestive area)
- trying to sit on his own
