It was a beautiful night to watch the I-Cubs take on the Tuscon Padres

The Race

We only have one picture of Jack's first race, but we have video that will last a lifetime! He was SO excited pre-race. Who knows what happened during the race (unknown cheers or unfamiliar faces??) but, either way, our 3 year old turned around mid-stride, laid out another racer flat in his hast and ran screaming into my arms. Priceless :)

Picnic at Daddy's Softball Game

We enjoyed a nice picnic in the park at Daddy's softball game before the weather turned cold and rainy last week.

And, I just couldn't refrain from posting the next picture. Excuse the quality and the jelly-faced child, but Jack loves his mom's shoes :)

Happy Mother's Day to All!

Good weekend for the Mills clan. Lindsey's grandparents and aunt and uncle from Elk City, Oklahoma were up for the weekend. The weather in "The" Moines was top notch this weekend, which added to the fun; couldn't have asked for anything more.

Today, we had a mother's day brunch at our place for everybody and my mom - good times were had by all.
