Tuesday Night Swim

Notice the blue earplugs? We don't want to mess up our new tubes :)

Walking the Mall

After a nice Sunday afternoon lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, Jack walked the Jordan Creek Mall with Emily and Ben.

It's baseball season!

And the Cardinals are already off to a 6-2 start. Heck, even the Royals are leading the AL Central with a 4-3 record. Good time to be a baseball fan in Mizzou this year.

Since Albert Pujols made his debut (in 2001), the Cardinals have a regular-season record of 731-570, or the most victories in the National League. Only the Yankees (777) and Red Sox (741) have won more games than the Cardinals (and we know how much money they spend).

BTW - The day Pujols started his big league career, Stan the Man showed up unannounced at COORS FIELD to watch the game (opening day, he was just in Denver for an autograph show) and ended up throwing out a ceremonial first pitch (at the oppositition's ballpark, mind you).

A passing of the torch occured that day. From The Man
to El Hombre....

Who is the greatest Cardinal of all-time between those two? Sorry Rogers, Gibby, Ozzie, Mac, Mize, Dizzy, Ducky, Lou, and Red... but this is a two person conversation.

Trampoline

Jack had a LOT of fun on the trampoline at the Moore Family Easter Dinner earlier this evening!

Practice Easter Egg Hunt

We had a little more time than expected while we were waiting for John to get out of the shower (ahem), so I set up an impromptu, mini-Easter Egg hunt as practice for the real thing tomorrow.

What do Jack and David Beckham have in common?

They both rock the faux-hawk! Don't worry baby mamas, we'll make sure he still treats the ladies with respect. Nice, huh?
Also, we completed our taxes over the weekend (this is early for us), and for the first time in 2 years, Uncle Sam is hooking us up with the benjamins! Good stuff.
