Happy Halloween! Have a spooky weekend :)
Only a few short hours after posting my Friday Phone Dump post below, our first born ran into the deck and received his first (of possibly many?) set of stitches. 5 stitches in all. He was a real trooper at the doctor. Came home, pulled up his pants as high as possible, and said "I look like Papa" :)
I've been enjoying "Friday Phone Dump" posts on other blogs for some time now and I recently read an article on ways to keep your blog "interesting" and routine posting was strongly suggested. Consistency in our posting is rare, thus, I am going to give this a try.
1. Jack put on my "work-out" hat before school the other morning and said he was going running.
2. I have been gone A LOT lately for work, so this has been my only view of the boys for way too many days lately*
3. Mom's hair comb is very entertaining.
4. Jack wearing my boots :)
*I hope having a less hectic work schedule next week will mean more pictures for next Friday's post!
Lindsey is in Seattle for "work," which appears to consist of running 5ks by the Space Needle, going to fun markets and other client development "tasks" (like wine tastings).
Anyway, she gets back on Sunday and last night, we all skyped each other. Here is a portion of that conversation.
- Jack: "Why are you not home? It's already Sunday"
- Me: "What do you mean? It's Friday."
- Jack: "No, it's Sunday, the sun was out today."
Today, I ventured outside with the boys and caught a huge break at Hy-Vee with the Police Cart. It actually made for a pretty nice shopping experience.
Now, if you will forgive me, I must go. Jack has just managed to plug the toilet again. As I have stated on facebook before, Jack's poop to plunger ratio is off the charts.
There is nothing better than a school picture :)
To take a look back, here is Jack age 1 and Jack age 2
