Happenings

John was in St. Louis last week for work and our almost-11-month-old came down with a yucky virus. He's as happy as a lark, but definitely doesn't feel 100%. We are getting there.....

Around 7 a.m. this Monday morning, gorgeous hot air balloons flew over our house, kicking off the National Balloon Classic, which starts tomorrow in Indianola, Iowa. One balloon flew so close to our house, that the pilot waved and said "hello" to Jack. He LOVED it :)

Slip.Slide.SUMMER

After today's heatwave, Mama may be taking her turn on the slide soon :)

Family

We enjoyed a little family time during the Urbandale Fourth of July Celebration Carnival and Jazz Show.

Jack LOVES a giant slide on a potato sack! LOVES ! Hopefully we can only find the discount slide. A $1/ride is a little pricey :) State Fair maybe???
