Tuesday Thank Yous!

This post is LONG overdue! I want to say a HUGE thank you to Heidi and Oliver (and Kevin) for taking care of J-man last week while I was in Cedar Rapids. We can't thank you enough for your help and we KNOW Jack had a great time! He was super talkative and happy every evening last week :) I think he misses you....and your trains. Let's play again SOON.



Thank you builder for hurrying up - it looks like we are moving this Friday :)

Well....

...we have good reasons for our lack of posts.

FIRST, our laptop broke :( The electrical cord is faulty and we have ordered a new one from amazon.com and hope to have it within 6 business days :) Until then, I'm using an older and much slower laptop.

SECOND, not only did we sell our house, we also made an offer on a house in Iowa and it was accepted yesterday. Here's a picture of what the house looks like...

Don't worry, we did not purchase an underground bunker :) We hope the house looks like this on December 1st :)

THIRD and finally, Jack's second tooth appeared and he turns 7 months old on Monday! Not really an excuse for the lack of posts, but we find our evenings/days filled with entertaining Jack, packing, and signing a never-ending pile of documents.

We're Coming Home =)

It's official! John accepted a job in West Des Moines soooooooooooo we are moving back! YAY! He begins his new job on September 8th and will be living with his Dad until Jack and I join him ... UPDATE: AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER :) See above post - we sold!

We are very excited to be on our way back to Iowa!
